“Everybody's Playing It.”

Allegra Geller (Jennifer Jason Leigh), the designer behind a new virtual reality game, needs to know whether her creation survived an assassin's attack. To find out, she has to play it, and she pulls in Ted Pikul (Jude Law), a marketing trainee, to play beside her. David Cronenberg sends the two running from killers, and what stays on screen is Ted's face as he accepts the game's terms.
