Exit 8

“Turn back.”

A man (Kazunari Ninomiya) walks a sterile subway passageway in search of Exit 8, following a few plain rules: notice anything out of the ordinary, turn back if you find it, carry on if you don't. One missed detail sends him to the start. Genki Kawamura adapts the game by letting the repetition do its work, so the film becomes a study of how closely a person can look at a place before it stops feeling real.
