Exotica

“In a world of temptation, obsession is the deadliest desire.”

Francis (Bruce Greenwood), a tax auditor in Toronto, wants one thing, to sit near Christina (Mia Kirshner) while she dances at the upscale club called Exotica. He comes back night after night, and the club's MC, Eric, still pines for her as he announces her onstage. Egoyan builds the film around those repeat visits, and Francis keeps returning like a man who cannot stop.
