“In 'The Exterminator' he made the streets of New York safe. All has been quiet - until now!”

New York in 1984 is a city where a garbage truck driver named John Eastland (Robert Ginty) can take a flamethrower to the gangs that have settled into his neighborhood. A drug lord and his crew run the streets, and X (Mario Van Peebles) leads the gang that answers to him. Mark Buntzman sets Eastland against X, and the film turns on Caroline (Deborah Geffner), the dancer who stays close to him.
