Extreme Measures

“Not all surgery is intended to cure.”

Dr. Guy Luthan (Hugh Grant), a British doctor in a New York emergency room, wants to know why a patient's body has vanished from the hospital. His questions lead him to Dr. Lawrence Myrick (Gene Hackman), a surgeon everyone at the hospital respects. Michael Apted follows him as the people guarding that secret begin to close in, and every answer Luthan gets puts his own life more at risk.
