Everyone at the old people's home on the Galician coast likes Mario (Luis Tosar), the nurse who makes each resident feel looked after. Then the narco Antonio Padín arrives, freshly released from prison, and Mario makes a point of settling him in. Paco Plaza sets this against a debt owed to a Colombian supplier, a debt Padín's son Toño (Ismael Martínez) hopes the nurse can persuade his father to cover.
