“'Nam was hell... Prison unbearable... But coming home meant murder.”

Buck Matthews (Gary Busey), a Vietnam veteran just out of prison, gets back to his hometown and finds a motorcycle gang running it, with a sheriff (Seymour Cassel) who looks the other way. His wife and daughter are caught in the gang's reach, and Buck turns to his friend J.B. Deveraux (Yaphet Kotto). Richard C. Sarafian keeps the film plain and fast, built on the mechanics of a fight in a small town.
