Eyes in the Night

Duncan "Mac" Maclain (Edward Arnold), a blind detective, is asked to help an old friend whose stepdaughter has stopped listening to anyone. Norma Lawry (Ann Harding) wants it handled quietly, but the girl, Barbara (Donna Reed), is tangled up with enemy agents and a murder. Fred Zinnemann works in small rooms and tight exchanges, keeping the mood restrained while the case closes in.
