Fabian: Going to the Dogs

Jakob Fabian (Tom Schilling) has a doctorate and a job writing ads for a cigarette company in Berlin, and he spends his nights walking the city instead of sleeping. Then he meets an actress, Cornelia Battenberg (Saskia Rosendahl), and for a while the walking has somewhere to lead. Dominik Graf adapts Erich Kästner's 1931 novel, and Fabian watches her career climb while his own prospects shrink.
