Falling Down

“The adventures of an ordinary man at war with the everyday world.”

A man in a white shirt and tie abandons his car in a Los Angeles traffic jam and starts walking toward his daughter's birthday party. Joel Schumacher follows D-Fens (Michael Douglas), an unemployed defense worker whose frustrations turn violent with each stop along the way, while retiring police officer Prendergast (Robert Duvall) works to catch him. Prendergast has one day left on the job, and D-Fens has one place left to reach.
