“Destroyed in love...”

Zooni Ali Beg (Kajol) is a blind young woman from Kashmir, traveling without her parents for the first time with a dance troupe bound for Delhi and an Independence Day performance. On the way she meets Rehan Khan (Aamir Khan), a tour guide with a reputation for flirting, and ignores her friends' warnings to go with him on a private tour. Kunal Kohli sets a first love against a secret Rehan keeps, and the film turns on what loving someone requires you to give up.
