Fanny

Marius has gone to sea, and Fanny Cabanis Panisse (Orane Demazis) is left in Marseille with a secret she cannot hide for long. Marc Allégret follows her through the days after, when Honoré Panisse (Fernand Charpin), an aging widower, makes his offer. César (Raimu) watches from behind the bar, and Fanny stands in the port waiting for a ship that is not coming back.
