“The most sensational sound you'll ever see!”

Deems Taylor, a music critic and composer, stands before the audience as Master of Ceremonies, introducing eight pieces of classical music in turn. Each one is set to animation by Walt Disney's studio, with Mickey Mouse as the sorcerer's apprentice in one segment. Leopold Stokowski conducts the Philadelphia Orchestra for most of them, and his silhouette rises between the music and the pictures.
