Farewell, Mr. Haffmann

François Mercier (Gilles Lellouche) works for a gifted jeweler in occupied Paris in 1942, and all he wants is a family with his wife, Blanche (Sara Giraudeau). When the German occupation leaves him and his employer Joseph Haffmann (Daniel Auteuil) no other choice, the two men strike an agreement. Fred Cavayé follows the months that agreement stretches into, and François carries more of its weight with each one.
