Fascists on Mars

Gaetano Maria Barbagli (Corrado Guzzanti) is a general in 1938 Italy, a man so sure of his own greatness that Mars looks like the next sensible conquest. He sets out with his loyal follower Freghieri (Marco Marzocca) and a crew of fascists, and Guzzanti and Igor Skofic play the whole expedition in a flat, dutiful voice. Barbagli gives the orders, Freghieri carries them out, and the film stays close to what holds those two together.
