Fat Kid Rules The World

Troy (Jacob Wysocki) is a heavy, friendless high-school senior who stands on a subway platform one afternoon thinking about stepping in front of a train. Marcus (Matt O'Leary), a dropout with a punk band and no drummer, pulls him back and asks him to join, though Troy has never played a note. Matthew Lillard's first film as a director is about how much a person can lean on a stranger who simply decides they're worth the trouble.
