Shirou Emiya (Noriaki Sugiyama) is a teenage mage who leads an ordinary life beside the warmhearted Sakura Matou (Noriko Shitaya), ten years after the Fourth Holy Grail War ended in ruin. When hidden forces start to move, he takes up his father's dying wish and enters another war for the Grail, with Saber (Ayako Kawasumi) at his side. Tomonori Sudo and the Ufotable animators fill the screen with spellwork and swords, Yuki Kajiura's music running underneath.
