Shirou Emiya (Noriaki Sugiyama), a novice mage, summons the heroic spirit Saber (Ayako Kawasumi) and is pulled into the fifth Holy Grail War, a story that has happened once and now begins again along a different line. This time his fate runs through Rin Tohsaka (Kana Ueda), a high school student and secret mage, and her Servant Archer (Junichi Suwabe). Yuji Yamaguchi sets the Servants against one another, and Shirou has little training to stand on.
