“He's America's Most Wanted...Dad!”

Jack Charles (Patrick Swayze) is a deadbeat father who wants his kids back, so he pulls Kelly (Sabrina Lloyd) and Eddie (Brian Bonsall) off the bus carrying them to an abusive foster home. Darrell Roodt sends the three down the road with the police behind them, and Kathleen Mercer (Halle Berry) in the mix. The kids bicker with the man who took them, and the ride starts to bind them to him.
