“Love is simple. Family is not.”

Billy Herrera (Andy Garcia) is a Cuban-American father in a big, sprawling family, and his daughter Sofia (Adria Arjona) has just told him she is getting married to Adan Castillo (Diego Boneta). Gary Alazraki follows the engagement through the many relationships around the household, with Billy's wife Ingrid (Gloria Estefan) pulled into every decision. Billy stands in the middle of it all, a man trying to be glad for his daughter.
