Father's Little Dividend

“Funnier than "Father of the Bride!"”

Stanley Banks (Spencer Tracy) has barely recovered from walking his daughter down the aisle when Kay (Elizabeth Taylor) announces that she and her husband Buckley (Don Taylor) are expecting. Stanley has to face the fact that he is about to be a grandfather, while Ellie (Joan Bennett) and the Dunstans begin making plans around him. Vincente Minnelli keeps the camera in the Banks household and lets Tracy's grumbling carry the scenes.
