(1972)Directed by Jimmy Sangster94 min · PGMystery, Thriller, Horror

Peggy Heller (Judy Geeson) spent a long time recovering from a brutal assault in her youth, and marriage to Robert (Ralph Bates) finally gave her some calm. Then they move into a small house on the grounds of the boarding school where he teaches, and she becomes certain that the headmaster, Michael Carmichael (Peter Cushing), means her harm. Jimmy Sangster keeps her in the empty house, a figure with a prosthetic arm in the doorway.
