Tommy (Rita Merle), eleven, only wants to be in a classroom on the first day of term, and her father Tim (Pio Marmaï) has promised he'll get her there. Then he steals a sports car, her mother Chloé (Camille Rutherford) goes missing, and an astronaut (Orelsan) turns up. Bruno Merle follows the family from one improvised stop to the next, with a loose, wandering camera that never hurries the trip.
