Felidae

“Francis is the world’s greatest cat detective. And all his nine lives are in danger.”

Francis (Ulrich Tukur), a house cat, moves with his owner into a new neighborhood where cats are turning up dead, each killing grislier than the last. He starts asking questions among the strays and old-timers, among them Blaubart (Mario Adorf) and Jesaja (Helge Schneider). Michael Schaack draws it as a hand-painted cartoon for adults, and the murders land with none of the softness that medium usually brings.
