Felon

“No rule. No hope. No way out.”

A man shoots an intruder inside his own home and wakes up convicted of killing him. Wade Porter (Stephen Dorff) was a family man with a wife, Laura (Marisol Nichols), and now he has a cell, a state prison and a set of rules nobody explains. Ric Roman Waugh, working from events at California State Prison, Corcoran, keeps Wade inside the system's hold, learning from John Smith (Val Kilmer) what it takes to last.
