Female Perversions

“Dare to let yourself go where you've never been before.”

Eve Stephens (Tilda Swinton) is an ambitious attorney, up for a judgeship, who spends her nights in meaningless sex with men and women. Her kleptomaniac sister Madelyn (Amy Madigan) keeps pulling her back into a family she can't manage to leave. Susan Streitfeld, adapting Louise Kaplan's book on the psychology of women, follows Eve as the polished surface she keeps up starts to cost her more than she can hide.
