Femmes Fatales

Two married men in their forties have walked out on their wives and everything else, and neither will say exactly what drove them. Paul Dufour (Jean-Pierre Marielle) and Albert (Jean Rochefort) head for the back of beyond, where a boozing, truculent priest, Father Émile (Bernard Blier), teaches them to enjoy the simple things. Bertrand Blier shoots it all in a grainy 70s light, the two men sitting in the countryside, glad of the quiet.
