Ferat Vampire

Dr. Marek (Jiří Menzel) watches in dismay as his colleague Mima (Dagmar Havlová Veškrnová) signs a contract with the foreign car company Ferat, which wants her as a rally driver. A scientist then tells him that human blood is what powers her winning car, and Marek has to decide whether to believe it. Juraj Herz builds the story around a plain idea: a machine that wins every race needs fuel, and here that fuel is human blood.
