Ferdinand

(2017)Directed by Carlos Saldanha108 min · PGAnimation, Family, Adventure, Comedy
“Built to fight. Born to love.”

Five men arrive at a Spanish ranch looking for the biggest, fastest, roughest bull they can find, and Ferdinand (John Cena), who would rather sit under his cork tree smelling flowers, is mistakenly picked for the bullfights in Madrid. Among the other animals he meets is the talkative goat Lupe (Kate McKinnon). Carlos Saldanha, who directed the film for Blue Sky Studios, loosely adapts the 1936 children's book The Story of Ferdinand.
