Fierce People

“Every family tree has its nuts.”

Liz Earl (Diane Lane), a massage therapist trying to kick her addictions, wants a second chance with her teenage son Finn (Anton Yelchin), whose father studies the Yanomani people in South America. She takes the only way out she can find and moves them both into the New Jersey estate of Ogden C. Osborne (Donald Sutherland), a wealthy former client. Griffin Dunne films the compound's lawns and dinner tables with a polite, watchful distance.
