Fight Club
“Mischief. Mayhem. Soap.”
In late-1990s America, the Narrator (Edward Norton) works a white-collar job he can't stand and hasn't slept properly in months. A chance meeting with Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt), a soap salesman, leads to bare-knuckle fights in a basement, which spread to other towns as Marla Singer (Helena Bonham Carter) drifts into their orbit. David Fincher's film treats the clubs as a cure for men who have the money and the furniture and still feel they own nothing.
