Finally Dawn

Rome in the 1950s, in the years of Hollywood on the Tiber, and Mimosa (Rebecca Antonaci) is close to getting engaged when she goes to Cinecittà to audition as an extra. The audition pulls her into one long night, and she crosses paths with the actress Josephine Esperanto (Lily James) and the American Sean Lockwood (Joe Keery). Saverio Costanzo stages the studio night as one continuous odyssey, so it feels as endless as Mimosa finds it.
