“Where will your imagination take you?”

J.M. Barrie (Johnny Depp), stuck in a writing slump, spends his afternoons in a London park, where he meets the widow Sylvia Llewelyn Davies (Kate Winslet) and her four young sons. Marc Forster follows the friendship as Barrie, with Charles Frohman (Dustin Hoffman) waiting on a new play, turns the boys' games into the idea for Peter Pan. Their mother's disapproval and the gossip around a married man in their lives put the family's trust at risk.
