“The best just got better”

In 1990, a joint task force of the DEA and the U.S. Army is trying to bring down one of South America's largest drug cartels, whose mountain compound keeps beating every assault. A cartel leader flying a Scorpion helicopter has already shot down two Black Hawks. David Green's film sends pilot Jake Preston (Nicolas Cage) into Apache training under Brad Little (Tommy Lee Jones), where Jake and Billie Lee Guthries (Sean Young) end up fighting each other first.
