Fire on the Amazon

“Fight fire with fire.”

Alyssa Rothman (Sandra Bullock) is a young activist who wants to know who murdered a well-known environmental researcher in the Amazon jungle. She can't do it alone, so she joins R.J. (Craig Sheffer), a photojournalist who has plenty of confidence and not much interest in anyone's cause. Luis Llosa follows the two of them upriver, where the search for answers brings them close to each other and to the men who would kill again.
