Firefighters

The call comes in to the "Settecamini" fire brigade in Rome, and Squadra 17 goes out to meet it, the same squad that has botched every job it was handed. Neri Parenti puts Paolo Casalotti (Paolo Villaggio) and Nicola Ruoppolo (Lino Banfi) among the barracks crew, each of them waiting for a chance to prove he belongs on the roster. The film is about ordinary men on a thankless job who want, once, to be seen doing it well.
