Fireworks

“If only I could return to that moment.”

Norimichi Shimada (Masaki Suda) is a schoolboy in the seaside town of Moshimo, where the whole class is waiting on the annual fireworks festival. He and his friends argue over whether the fireworks look round or flat, depending on where you watch from, and they set out to settle it. Directors Nobuyuki Takeuchi and Akiyuki Shinbo put Norimichi beside Nazuna Oikawa (Suzu Hirose), and what he wants from that summer night starts to change.
