“Sicily 1982, the dream of loving each other without fear”

Sicily, 1982, in a town where everyone knows what everyone else is doing and nobody forgives it. Gianni (Samuele Segreto) is thirteen when he meets Nino (Gabriele Pizzurro), a few years older, and the two of them drift into a friendship that neither can name aloud. Giuseppe Fiorello, making his first feature, puts the two boys side by side and lets the town's eyes close in around them.
