First Man into Space

“The picture that leaps ahead of the headlines!”

Dan Prescott (Bill Edwards) is a test pilot who wants to be the first man to leave Earth's atmosphere, and he won't wait for clearance to try. His older brother, Cmdr. Charles Ernest Prescott (Marshall Thompson), runs the program and has to answer for it. Robert Day shoots in black and white, and the film closes on the dark countryside where the missing pilot, hungry for blood, is out.
