“Day one, duty calls”

Deo (Gino Anthony Pesi) is a lone NYPD officer working the night shift in New York, moving through violent crimes with the efficiency of someone who has learned not to look too closely. When a new recruit, Angela (Kristen Renton), is assigned to his next tour, he has to decide whether to let her in or shut her out. The city at night pulls them both toward danger that neither of them chose, and only one kind of choice will keep them alive.
