“Can punk save the world?”

In Japan in 1975, a punk band records a song called "Fish Story" that no one hears. Decades later, the song is said to be what saves the world, and its stories reach into the lives of the people it touches, among them Shigeki (Atsushi Ito), Goro (Kengo Kora) and Masami (Mikako Tabe). Yoshihiro Nakamura adapts Kōtarō Isaka's novel by cutting between these separate eras until they begin to answer one another.
