Five Corners

“Friends last forever. Goodness is its own reward. ...And there ain't no Indians in the Bronx.”

Linda Komkowski (Jodie Foster) wants to be left alone in her Bronx neighborhood in the 1960s, where she is still trying to put an attack behind her. Then Heinz Sabatino (John Turturro) walks out of prison, determined to find her and the man who stopped him, Harry Fitzgerald (Tim Robbins). Tony Bill squeezes the whole film into 48 hours, so the streets feel smaller with every scene.
