Trudy Farrell (Ira von Fürstenberg) is one of a handful of rich couples invited to a weekend at a playboy's private island house, all of them expecting sun, drinks and idle talk. Under the leisure there is business: a chemist among the guests has developed a formula, and the industrialists around him are eager to buy it. Mario Bava fills the house with bright colors and sleek modern furniture, and the bodies begin to turn up there.
