“THRILLING STRANGE WORLD ADVENTURES”

In 1936, scientists discover that the planet Mongo is on a collision course with Earth. Dr. Hans Zarkov (Frank Shannon) builds a rocket, and Flash Gordon (Buster Crabbe) and Dale Arden (Jean Rogers) climb aboard to fly out and meet it. Directors Ray Taylor and Frederick Stephani follow the pair to Mongo, where Ming the Merciless (Charles Middleton) rules, and Flash is the only one willing to stand up to him.
