Flawless

“Nobody's perfect. Everybody's flawless.”

Walt Koontz (Robert De Niro) is a retired police officer who has lived his whole life by rules, until a stroke leaves him partly paralyzed and his speech slurred. His therapist sends him to singing lessons, and the only teacher close by is Rusty (Philip Seymour Hoffman), the drag queen in the apartment down the hall. Joel Schumacher puts the two of them in one cramped room, Walt's stiff hand resting on the piano.
