Fletch

“Meet the only guy who changes his identity more often than his underwear.”

Irwin "Fletch" Fletcher (Chevy Chase) is an investigative reporter who spends his days undercover at a local beach, writing about the drug trade in whatever disguise suits the afternoon. Then wealthy businessman Alan Stanwyk (Tim Matheson) walks up and offers him $50,000 to murder him. Michael Ritchie lets Chase talk his way through each new identity, and the film follows the patter wherever it goes.
