Flic Story

Roger Borniche (Alain Delon) is a Paris police detective who takes on the hunt for Émile Buisson (Jean-Louis Trintignant), an escaped asylum patient who killed again and again after his wife and child died. Jacques Deray follows the chase across nine years, from the Paris of 1947 to Buisson's execution in 1956. Delon walks the streets in his raincoat, the long search wearing a little more of him down.
