Flight of the Intruder

“The only thing they can count on is each other.”

Lt. Jake Grafton (Brad Johnson) flies A-6 Intruders off a carrier in Vietnam, and he wants the missions to be worth the risk. Cmdr. Frank Camparelli (Danny Glover) tries to hold him and his bombardier Virgil Cole (Willem Dafoe) to orders they have stopped believing in. John Milius sets the film in the space between the two pilots, a friendship tested by how far each will go, and what the other will let him.
