Flipper

“This summer it's finally safe to go back in the water.”

Sandy Ricks (Elijah Wood) wants nothing from his summer except to be somewhere else, but his mom has sent him to Coral Key, a rustic island in the Florida Keys. He is stuck with his uncle Porter (Paul Hogan), and Sandy dislikes the whole place until a dolphin he names Flipper turns up. Alan Shapiro sends the two of them out on the water, where a boy who expected a boring summer finds a friend.
