Flodder

“A Family Movie”

Ma Flodder (Nelly Frijda) is a loud, unbending matriarch who has raised her family on the margins, with Johnnie (Huub Stapel) and her kids Kees (René van 't Hof) and Henkie (Horace Cohen) along for it. The city moves them into a rich neighborhood, where Dick Maas sets their habits against the neighbors' manicured routines. The laughs come from two ways of living side by side, each sure the other is the problem.
